What does Brakebush do?
Brakebush is a value-added processor of great tasting chicken products. We primarily supply national, food service, and industrial accounts. The process begins in Irving, TX - a state-of-the-art portioning facility, then moves to our facilities in Mocksville (NC), Westfield (WI), and Wells (MN) for cooking, marinating, formation, and other further processing operations.
How often are employees paid?
We have two different pay periods at Brakebush. Hourly team members are paid weekly, on Friday. Our salaried team members are paid bi-weekly, every other Friday
Is there opportunity for advancement?
Yes! Many of our current leaders began in entry level positions and have worked their way to leadership roles. As our business grows, so do our career paths. We also offer robust on-the-job training, tuition reimbursement for related degrees/certificate programs, and in-house professional development.
What are the available shifts?
We operate three shifts at almost all our locations. Please reference the job posting/description for the exact start time and shift information.
Is overtime available?
Yes, overtime is available based on business needs. Brakebush offers a generous overtime accrual policy, which includes several special provisions that exceed many traditional policies.
Do you work weekends?
Shifts and days worked vary by location. Some positions may be required to work one day during the weekend. Please reference the job posting/description for more details.
Does your organization utilize E-verify?
Yes. We process all our team members through the E-Verify system.
Does your organization offer health benefits?

Will I be eligible for a bonus?
Yes. All team members have the opportunity to receive a bonus based on position, performance and company performance. Brakebush Brothers, Inc. is proud to have paid bonuses for 30 consecutive years to their team members.
How do I find out about any new openings as they become available?
Search positions that match your interest, then click the Create Email Alert button to receive email notifications when a new position that matches your criteria becomes available.
I've applied online. What happens now?
Your application will be reviewed by our HR team and the Hiring Manager for the positions(s) to which you have applied. Due to the high volume of applicants, we are not able to personally reach out to every applicant. If the hiring manager is interested in learning more about your background, a member of out team will reach out to you directly.
