JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

Summary: The Accounts Receivable Assistant serves a critical role in accurately processing customer transactions.  

 

Remote Work: This position is a hybrid of on-site and remote.

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Inputs distributor samples and clears from the distributor account; entry of bill backs into Blacksmith, communicates any deviations, and clears from distributor account.
  • Enters promotional rebates from marketing team into SAP.   
  • Support Customer Finance Team with various projects, as needed. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Basic accounting knowledge/experience
  • Ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and prioritize deliverables.   
  • Strong organizational skills; verbal and written communication skills; analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience working in the food/manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working in SAP

 

Supervisory Responsibility: There are no supervisory responsibilities. 

 

Work Environment: Office environment.  Subject to extended periods of sitting, working on PC, and talking on telephone.   

 

Physical Demands: Position will include extensive sitting.

 

Position Type: This is a hybrid schedule.   The role will spend up to 50% of the time working in the Westfield office, and 50% remote.  Hours may vary as needed.

 

Travel: There is no expected travel.
