JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:  The Customer Service Representative is the front-line ambassador for our company, ensuring excellent service standards and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This position coordinates with various internal teams to best address customer requests and comments.

Essential Functions:  

• Supports customers with accurate information about our products, pricing and deliveries.
• Establishes accurate and organized records of new or additional products, services and customer accounts.
• Promotes customer satisfaction through fielding of questions and concerns, ensuring that appropriate actions and follow-up are taken.
• Continues customer support through direct communication with the Brakebush Sales Team.

Required Qualifications:

• Two years of proven customer service experience
• Able to listen carefully to customers (internal and external) and provide prompt assistance with a courteous and calm demeanor
• Demonstrates ability to communicate, collaborate and manage internal relationships at all levels of the company  
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform and thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Capacity to learn our product and business

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the Food or Manufacturing industries
• Skilled in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge of SAP, Blacksmith and CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
• Associate degree

Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory duties.

Work Environment: The work environment is an office environment with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels.

Physical Demands: This position would be primarily sitting with little to no lifting or other physical demands.

Position Type: Non-exempt, 1st shift

Travel: No travel is expected.
