JOB DESCRIPTION


Summary: Under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Administrator performs the necessary functions to support the entire HR & Safety Team. The position requires frequent contact with personnel inside and outside the company, requiring reasonable tact, discretion, interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of HR policies and procedures. 


Essential Functions: 

  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources & Safety teams.  The incumbent will assist the teams with multiple functions, such as compliance, benefits, recruiting, and onboarding.
  • Acts as the main administrator for the Human Resources office. The incumbent including personnel data entry and file management, invoicing, voicemails, and employee call-ins. Other functions include clerical duties such as printing, sorting mail, sending fax communications, filing, etc.
  • Route facility calls and direct visitors arriving at the Mocksville facility. The incumbent acts as a primary contact for outside visitors and vendors entering the facility.


Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources (or related field) OR an Associate Degree and 1+ years of administrative experience OR 2+ years of administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail: strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Competent in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience supporting a Human Resources team
  • Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing facility
  • Prior experience with SAP software


Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment: The work environment is an office environment with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels. 


Physical Demands: This position would be primarily sitting with little to no lifting or other physical demands. Subject to extended periods of sitting, working on PC and talking on telephone.   


Travel: Travel is not required.
