JOB DESCRIPTION 

Summary: The Sales & Marketing Administrator position helps to support a dynamic and growing sales team of Food Service and National Accounts Representatives and the Marketing team by supporting their administrative needs. This position requires maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and working knowledge of Customer Service/Sales and Marketing processes. 


Onsite Schedule: You will be expected to be onsite Monday thru Friday, 8:00 to 4:30 P.M. Hours may vary as needed. 


Essential Functions: 

  • Provides an internal customer experience for the team by maintaining organized and accurate data entry, scanning and routing of Customer Service documents to include Bill of Ladings (BOLs), Point of Sale Requests and others as directed. 
  • Coordinates processing of Marketing Campaign Responses including accurate data entry, routing for payment and delivering summary reports. 
  • Maintains inventory of internal Point of Sale. 
  • Serves as backup for front desk coverage and included duties during Receptionist lunch, breaks and vacations. 
  • Coordinates company mail services to include arranging UPS logistics, Sales, and Marketing bulk mailing projects, and distributing internal mail. 
  • Performs clerical duties as needed (data entry, local courier services for paperwork, handling correspondence, etc.).


Required Qualifications: 

  • At least one year of prior experience in an administrative assistant role. 
  • Communication and decision-making skills to prioritize team needs and provide prompt assistance in a courteous and calm demeanor. 
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Command of MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in Sales or Marketing. 
  • Experience in the food or manufacturing industries.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 


Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory duties. 

Work Environment: The work environment is an office environment with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels. 

Physical Demands: This position would require long periods of sitting and some light lifting (mail). 

Position Type: Non-exempt, 1st shift, this position may require you to stay late or come in early to complete a task. 

Travel: Minimal travel is expected.
