POSITION: Transporter
HOURS:  6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with availability to work weekends and overtime.
COMPENSATION: $20.09 Hourly
REPORTS TO:  Production Supervisor

EMPLOYMENT: Full time

JOB SUMMARY: Delivers supplies to production areas, palletizes product, and delivers finished product to freezers.

JOB DUTIES:

• Supply necessary materials to production areas, supporting daily production operations.
• Operating powered industrial vehicle to assist in staging and delivery of materials and products.
• Palletize product, including assisting in box making and operating the pallet wrapper.
• Accurately complete paperwork, entering pallet tickets and other data into the computer as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting.  Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete the required safety training (Powered Industrial Vehicles). Previous food processing/manufacturing experience a plus. Computer experience in a windows environment a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
