JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary: Under the direction of the HR Supervisor, the HR Admin performs the necessary functions to support the entire HR & Safety Team. The position requires frequent contact with personnel inside and outside the company, requiring reasonable tact, discretion, interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Supports and assists Human Resources & Safety teams in multiple functions, such as compliance, benefits, recruiting, and onboarding.
- Acts as the main administrator for the Human Resources office, including personnel data entry and file management, invoicing, voicemails, and employee call-ins.
- Acts as the first point of contact for employees and visitors, directing questions and calls appropriately.
- Assist and support coordination of events on-site.
- Performs clerical duties as needed (printing, sort mail, sending fax communications, filing, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
- Must have at least two years of administrative experience in an office environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail: strong organizational, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proven computer literacy in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree
- Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing facility
- Prior experience with SAP
Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: The work environment is an office environment with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels.
Physical Demands: This position would be primarily sitting with little to no lifting or other physical demands. Subject to extended periods of sitting, working on PC and talking on telephone.
Travel: Travel is not required.
