Hours: 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. (Hours May Vary)  

Wage: $20.52/hour 

 

JOB SUMMARY: Effectively clean assigned areas within plant or offices to ensure clean healthy and sanitary conditions are maintained.  

 

JOB DUTIES:  

  • Empty wastebaskets and take garbage to compactor. 

  • Make coffee. 

  • Fill napkin and condiment dispensers. 

  • Wipe tables and counters. 

  • Vacuum, sweep and mop floors as necessary. 

  • Dust furniture. 

  • Clean sinks, water fountains, windows and mirrors. 

  • Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures. 

  • Keep doors and door frames clean. 

  • Replace/ refill toweling and bathroom tissue. 

  • Set up and take down meeting rooms as necessary. 

  • Shampoo & Vacuum carpets as necessary. 

  • Order supplies through Material Manager, Lead & Supervisor. 

  • Review all areas of responsibility daily and complete them as necessary. 

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting is required. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

  • Attached sheets outline the specific duties for janitors working various shift assignments. 

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
