Physical Classification: 1-4 (see Back & Task Chart) 

Hours: 6:00a.m.-2:30 p.m. (Hours May Vary)  

Wage: $19.10/hour 

  

JOB SUMMARY: Will work in various locations on production line, performing such duties as arranging/straightening chicken parts. 

  

JOB DUTIES:  

  • Separate and sort chicken parts on conveyor belt.  

  • Remove unbattered or seconds pieces from line and pack them as specified.  

  • Prepare boxes for packers by staging boxes, bags and labels ahead.  

  • Pack individual pieces in portion packs according to specifications.  

  • Assist in changing work areas for different product runs.  

  • Keep work area clean.  

  • Job requires frequent repetitive bending, lifting and twisting throughout the work shift.  

  • Assist in sanitizing area, as required. 

  • Machine set up and operation in accordance with specifications and safety.  

  • Regulations and complete required paperwork and entry into the computer. 

  • Work in other departments or perform other duties as assigned.  

  

WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.  

  

QUALIFICATIONS: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must pass company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
