JOB SUMMARY: Machine set up and operation in accordance with specifications and safety regulations.
JOB DUTIES:

Machine set up and operation which includes leveling, filling, moving machines, speed and adjustments. Includes mixers, grinders, packing and all other production equipment

Perform all required testing that may include: raw weights, batter testing, bone checks, fully cooked temperatures, fried/fully cooked weights, and bone marrow checks

Mix ingredients and chill, if necessary, to proper temperature

Maintain all cooking systems which include adjusting speeds and belt heights, scraping tubes, checking fryer temperatures, checking filter system, monitoring control panels, monitoring oil levels in fryer tank, know Gyro and freezer operation

Will help assist the line in any way needed: i.e. boxing keels, helping repack boxes, helping stack skids when transporter is gone to freezer and helping pack when packers fall behind

Able to perform marinator operations: reading batch sheets and formulating loads

Know 8-digit product codes

Operate and fill Wilevco; Operate Toledo system

Operate Formax and marinator and other equipment as required

Know cooler locations and functions, supply line with raw materials

Must be able to read and understand specifications and batch sheets

Operate jack in a safe and responsible manner

Maintain clean and safe work environment

Complete all necessary record keeping for QA and inventory records; paper and computer entry

Knowledge and understanding of the HACCP program
-
Frequent twisting, bending, and lifting, up to 100 lbs

Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise exposure, temperature variations from warm to cool to extremely cold and slippery floors are present. Exposure to cold by working in a cooled area and working with chilled product. Exposure to potentially hazardous/moving equipment. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. Exposure to high levels of dust from ingredients.
QUALIFICATIONS: Well motivated person, work well with little supervision, work and communicate well with fellow employees, and is quality conscious of the product we run. Must be able to multi-task and have good math skills. Must meet the physical abilities evaluation requirements for this position. Must successfully complete all required training including Power Jack and Lock Out/Tag Out.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
