HOURS: 1:20pm – 11:50pm (Monday - Thursday)

WAGE:  $23.45 per hour 

 

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Safely operate the Yard Dog to hook, move, and back trailers into the docks and confined areas of the property 

  • Safely operate the Genie scissor lift more than 30ft to clear obstructed lanes and remove frost build up in the warehouse 

  • Accurately picking, staging, loading orders in SAP, 

  • Transferring product to and from storage 

  • Learn all freezer layouts 

  • Maintain lanes in Storage freezers for Maximum capacity and efficiency 

  • Working in -0 temperatures 

  • Must communicate with Production, R&D, Q.A and Transportation. 

  • Maintaining clean docks, freezers, office, and storage areas 

  • Work with the onsite USDA inspector to get all export orders stamped and inspected in a timely manner. 

  • Accurately recording department inspections/maintenance 

  • Working well within the team 

  • Loading outbound as well as unloading inbound trailers 

  • Responsible for any other duties as assigned. 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures, from warm to extremely cold, moving equipment, slippery floors, heavy and repeated lifting.  Working at heights greater than 30ft daily.  Operating the yard dog in inclement weather, rain, and snow.  Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete Yard Dog, Genie scissor lift, Power Jack/ Forklift, and Hazard communication training courses. Must demonstrate good communication skills.  Must meet the physical abilities evaluation requirements for this position.  Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist, up to 12 hours per day.  Must be able to work with limited supervision.  Must have basic computer literacy. 



Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
