HOURS: At least 10 hours per week during the school year with increased hours during the summer months. 

WAGE: $16.00 per hour

 

JOB SUMMARY:  This is an entry level position.  The ideal candidate will be eager to learn a wide range of mechanical related tasks including work indoors and outdoors to assist with maintaining the grounds and facility.  

 

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Will be performing a variety of general labor duties inside and outside the plant. Must be comfortable working in varied temperatures.  

  • Performing other duties as assigned. 

  • General housekeeping duties. 

  • Prepping and painting of walls, post, and piping inside and outside of plant.  

  • General lawn care.  

  • Pick up trash on plant property.  

  • Painting on exterior of plant.  

  • Assist experienced technicians with variety of tasks.  

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  Will vary between inside and outside depending on weather conditions. Potential for slips, trips and falls is present. Must wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Must be at least 16 years old. Able to tolerate varied temperatures including working outdoors, display a positive attitude, be dependable and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. A driver’s license is preferred. 


Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
